TURKEY

Located between Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Turkey is located halfway between the equator and the North Pole and measures 810000 square km. A small area called Thrace is part of the European continent, while the largest region, Anatolia, is part of Asia. The city of istanbul is the meeting point between europe and asia and is divided by the bosphorus, the strait that connects the black sea to the marmara sea. Turkey is bordered by Greece and Bulgaria from the European side, and Georgia, Armenia, Iraq, Iran, and Syria in the east and south-east. When you think of turkey, the thought goes to its white beaches, with its cobalt blue sea. Turkey is not only this. It was one of the cradles of civilization, it is a bridge between Europe and Asia; it has always been a land where many peoples have left very important historical treasures to which even the most savvy traveler cannot remain indifferent.
